    A perennial plant that grows to 20 to 50 cm tall. It is used in herbal medicine, as a spice and grown as an ornamental plant. It develops dark green, ovate leaves with a characteristic garlic taste and aroma. Its white flowers are gathered in umbels. Every part of this plant is edible.
