CRESS – Sprouting Seeds
With their distinct aroma and savoury taste, cress sprouts cannot be mistaken for any other sprouts. You can add them to enrich the flavour of cottage cheese, sandwiches, and salads. Cress sprouts are usually grown, just like rye, on shallow plates around Easter. Still, you can grow them all year long. Harvest them four to five days after the sow.
