Oregano

A perennial that grows to 40 to 50 cm tall. It is a melliferous plant with pleasantly scented flowers. It develops small leaves with a spicy aroma and a slightly bitter taste. This Mediterranean spice is used for flavouring tomato dishes and stewed meat.
